Ubisoft’s fantastic team-based FPS title ShootMania Storm is packing in two modes for players who pick up the game, as announced this weekend during PAX Prime. Naturally, they’ll be free at launch.
Royal Mode is a free-for-all battle that pits team against each other as they try to control a single spot on an arena.
Elite, the second mode in the release, is focused on base defense—but each team will take turns defending that one base, swapping between offense and defense within the same round.
Everyone who downloads ShootMania Storm for free with have access to both modes, with “no limits” on the gameplay. Storm will be the first release of the game, followed by two more environmental-based versions.
