PayPal is now available as a payment method on PlayStation 4, Sony has announced.
The payment method can be used to fund your PlayStation Store wallet on the Sony Entertainment Network website, or for direct purchases via the PlayStation Store on the console. “As an added level of security, your PayPal account information will not be stored on your SEN account,” PlayStation Support writes.
PayPal is available as an option in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Argentina. Users still have the option of funding purchases via credit card for PSN card if they wish to.
PlayStation 3 owners have been able to use PayPal as a funding option since last year, with amounts varying between $5 and $150 available.
