THE BUZZ: Volition today announced that for the PC version of their upcoming homage to homicide Saints Row: The Third, PC players will be receiving some exclusive elements.
First, you’ll get the Saints Video Record Mode, which will give you the option to record and export your favorite moments in the game for sharing with friends.
As well, at some point after the game has launched, the PC version will also receive oversized bobblehead masks of characters from Valve’s Team Fortress 2. In typical Valve fashion, THQ will be offering those masks for free to all purchasers of the game.
Finally, of course, your usual list of PC-specific options, such as “AMD Eyefinity support, DX9, DX10, and DX11 support, Crossfire enabled, SLI enabled, advanced depth of field, reflections, and ambient occlusion quality, and, of course, God Rays.”
EGM’s TAKE: I’ll be missing out on these goodies due to not being a PC gamer, but I’m glad to hear about the video recording options. I love the ability to record game clips whenever it’s presented in games, especially in ones where you know you’ll get some awesome moments of chaos.
