THE BUZZ: Nintendo of America has announced that a standalone version of the Pearl Pink 3DS will be available in time for Valentines Day.

Starting February 10, the Pearl Pink Edition 3DS – previously only available as part of a limited edition bundle – will be available at retailers priced at $169.99.

EGM’s TAKE: What says I love you more than a pink 3DS? Well a lot of things do actually, you better hope your loved one is a massive fan of games before you go throwing down your cash on this. If your not entirely sure then maybe some chocolates or a nice piece of jewelry is a better route to go down. On a positive note, we have yet another color to add to the growing 3DS collection, the problem is if you already have one you’ll have to be a real fan of the color to drop an extra $170.
