Penny Arcade Confirms Rain-Slick Precipice Ep. 3 Heading To iOS, Android
Posted on June 20, 2012 AT 10:58am
While gaming industry scuttlebutt mostly inferred and implied that Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 would be porting to mobile devices, the official word now comes from the iconic duo themselves.
Adding a new gameplay trailer sizzle reel to boot (can you believe these guys have never had a YouTube account?), the announcement boasts that Rain-Slick Precipice 3 will have “the most mindblowing 16-bit graphics since 1992″ and more than enough “walking” for everybody.
Per the official release:
“We chose the right partner,” said Holkins, when asked if Zeboyd was a good partner or not. “I would choose them again. And I did, because we still have another one of these to do.”
As the end tagline states, the game will hit PC on Steam for $4.99 and the Xbox Live’s Indie Games section for 400 Microsoft Points on Monday, June 25th. It’ll also debut on Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android devices “soon,” so expect Penny Arcade to announce a date and then release it early just to make everyone happy.
