THE BUZZ: The next big PS2 title coming to the PS3 as a digital download has been announced—and it’s one of the PS2′s best Japanese RPGs.

EGM’s TAKE: In my time as a video game reviewer, I’ve almost never given a 10 out of a 10 score to a game. One exception to that was Persona 3 FES—the updated and expanded release of Atlus’ PS2 JRPG Persona 3. For its time, Persona 3 FES was an utterly amazing game—it combined traditional RPG elements with social relationship building and traditional Shin Megami Tensei-esque themes to produce an experience that was fun, engrossing, stylish, and unique.
