THE BUZZ: The next big PS2 title coming to the PS3 as a digital download has been announced—and it’s one of the PS2’s best Japanese RPGs.

EGM’s TAKE: In my time as a video game reviewer, I’ve almost never given a 10 out of a 10 score to a game. One exception to that was Persona 3 FES—the updated and expanded release of Atlus’ PS2 JRPG Persona 3. For its time, Persona 3 FES was an utterly amazing game—it combined traditional RPG elements with social relationship building and traditional Shin Megami Tensei-esque themes to produce an experience that was fun, engrossing, stylish, and unique.

Now, Persona 3 FES is coming back as a downloadable PS2 classic release via the PlayStation Store. For $9.99, you can now experience one of the best RPGs of the previous generation. And for those of you who already know and love FES—hey, now you can buy, own, and play it again!
