Yesterday Atlus announced, through Famitsu, that a Persona 4 Fighting Game is in the works and it is being developed by the team that made BlazBlue. This morning Andriasang posted some screenshots of the game from Famitsu.

So far the the only characters confirmed are Yu (the main character), Chie, Yosuke, and Aigis from Persona 3. If you look at the screen shot of the character selection menu, it appears that Kanji, the main character from Persona 3, and either Yukiko from Persona 4 or Fuuka from Persona 3 will also be playable. I’m leaning more towards Yukiko, but since other Persona 3 characters are present and the picture is not clear, the only info I have to go off of to tell who the character might be is the Arcana of High Priestess. With the console release of the game in summer 2012 for Japan, it gonna be hard to wait over a year to wait for a US release.
