Atlus has officially announced Persona 5: The Royal for PlayStation 4.

A trailer for the upcoming game shows a mysterious new female character who, according to the translation by Gematsu, is not a fan of the Phantom Thieves’ methods.

“What do you think of the Phantom Thieves?” a voice asks the character. “I think helping people is a wonderful thing, but if I had to say, I don’t like them. I don’t think the Phantom Thieves’ methods will make the world a better place or help anyone,” she responds. “In the end, I feel like you can only solve that yourself.”

This 45-second teaser is all the information we have for now, but more details will be shared on April 24th during the Persona Super Live concert in Japan.

The current belief is that Persona 5: The Royal will be an enhanced version of Persona 5, similar to Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 FES.
