Nintendo Switch

Photos of U.S. retailer Best Buy’s internal database have appeared online that reveal Persona 5, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for Nintendo Switch.

A listing for a Nintendo Switch version of Persona 5 was shared by Twitter user “Mystic,” before later being corroborated by “Wario64,” who is well known for providing leaked information. This leak was followed up by listings for Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Yesterday, Atlus put up a new teaser website for something called Persona 5 S, which many believe to be a Switch port of the game. More information about Persona 5 S will be shared on April 5th.

As for the other two listings, Nintendo has already announced Metroid Prime 4 for Switch, so bringing the trilogy to the console to catch players up would make sense. However, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past has not been rumored or mentioned before, making it much less likely to be real. Nintendo previously announced a remake of Link’s Awakening, but Wario64 mentions that an entry for that is also in the database, so this isn’t Best Buy just mixing the games up.

As is customary with leaks such as these, take them with a pinch of salt until something official is announced.
