THE BUZZ: Konami will release an update for PES 2012 this week that will add the Copa Santander Libertadores.

PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 owners will be able to download the update this Friday, April 27. All 38 teams, official rosters and the competition’s official ball will be added.

The update will also refine certain aspects of the game to give a more fluid and realistic experience.

Yesterday Konami released the first details and a debut trailer for PES 2013.

EGM’s TAKE: This should help extend the game experience for those who may have grown weary of playing the same content over and over again. The fact that it is all official may be slightly rubbing salt into the wounds of EA and FIFA who’s newest DLC contains unlicensed teams and kits.
