Some big publishers may have pulled out of Gamescom, but Konami has announced it will be there in force, bringing with it Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, PES 2013, and both Castlevania: Lords of Shadow games.

As well as these fantastic games the publisher will also be using a virtual studio at its booth to deliver content to fans worldwide via live streams. It will host several interviews with leading Konami talent, and promises a steady stream of content distributed via several social media networks.

“Innovation and strong brands – that is what Konami is all about at this year’s Gamescom,” explained Martin Schneider, general manager of Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “With new versions of Pro Evolution Soccer, Metal Gear and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, fans and gamers are introduced to our best brands. And via Konami onAir, we can connect directly with our community and bring Konami’s Gamescom attractions to gamers all over the world – an exciting interaction that has never been at the show before.”

Gamescom will run from August 15-19 in Cologne, Germany, and Konami can be found in Hall 7.
