Phantasy Star Online 2 Vita Version is Free-to-Play

Posted on September 27, 2012 AT 04:20am

Sega has confirmed that the PlayStation Vita version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free-to-play just like its PC counter-part.

The development team confirmed the information last week, dispelling any thoughts that people had about Sega charging for the game. The Vita version will be able to connect with the PC version of the MMO and will be completely free to download and play.

Players will be able to play with the same character across both versions meaning that you can still be online even when on the move. The PC version of the game is due to release in the U.S. and Europe next year, no date has been set for the Vita version.
