Capcom is giving Phoenix Wright a spit-shine for iPhone and iPad this fall, upscaling the first three games in the series. That means touch-screen controls and Retina Display support.
As announced on Capcom’s Unity blog, the collection will be called Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy.
Since the app is a package deal, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Justice For All, and Trials and Tribulations will be wrapped up in a single purchase, with new features to round out the re-release for mobile fans.
But one of the best additions by far is the complete HD remastering that’s going into each title, replacing the pixelated look that accompanied the original Nintendo DS releases. It’s going to look good on your screens.
Sadly, there wasn’t any price announcement, nor an Android reveal, which should be standard for most developers.
Moreover, your system had better concurrent with Apple’s firmware, since Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy isn’t compatible with any device that running older software than the iOS 5 update.
