Reddit user “marcodj” was able to snag some behind-the-scenes shots of a Grand Theft Auto V live-action advert being filmed in Mexico City.
According to marcodj, the crew filming the ad were very open about it being for GTA V, and were also apologetic for the disturbances. They allowed passersby to take photos freely, and even invited people to watch the work-in-progress.
“They were all very nice people, offered the neighbors apologies for all the noise during the night and gave the admins of the building some money for the trouble (around 450USD if my conversion is right, This was in Mexico) so, overall it was a nice experience,” Reddit user marcodj described.
“Another thing I noticed is that people thought they were shooting a movie, it wasn’t until the GTA V banner was put that a few realized what they were looking at but for most people it didn’t ring a bell,” marcodj added.
