Special ‘Pikachu Yellow’ Nintendo 3DS XL Now Heading To Europe, Too

People still go crazy for Pokémon gear, and now Europe is getting their turn to wait in lines for the special edition “Pikachu Yellow” Nintendo 3DS XL. Where’s the love for North America?

During a Nintendo Direct presentation issued earlier today, UK region president Satoru Shibata mentioned that the 3DS XL would be getting two special bundles, one for Mario Kart 7 and one for Pokémon.

Starting on November 16th, the Mario Kart 7 bundle will be on sale, featuring a white 3DS XL with the aforementioned racing game pre-loaded into the device.

Shibata didn’t make any specific announcement about the Pikachu-themed bundle, which sold out in just a single day over in Japan’s Pokémon Center stores. Hopefully, the U.S. and Canada will be getting the special edition 3DS XL in retail stores too, although Nintendo missed a golden opportunity by not packing it with Pokémon Black 2 or White 2.
