Obsidian Entertainment has announced that Seeker, Slayer, Survivor, the next DLC for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, will go live on September 25th.

This latest premium DLC “is heavily focused around combat” and sees players taking on a number of formidable adversaries, including dueling wizards and regenerating spiders. Combat will be split into three pillars: Seeker, Slayer, and Survivor. The Seeker route tasks players with looking for a solution to take down their foe, while Slayer pits players against “truly fearsome creatures.” Finally, Survivor sees players taking on waves of enemies.

“Delving into a rich story, exploring fascinating new environments, and unearthing powerful items are still crucial, but players will experience combat trials like they have never seen before as combatants in the Crucible,” Brandon Adler, DLC Game Director for Obsidian, said.

Alongside new content, Seeker, Slayer, Survivor will introduce a number of bug fixes and balance improvements.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is available now on PC, and will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
