Q Games (best known for their work on Lumines and the PixelJunk series) and Double Eleven (developers of LIttleBigPlanet PS Vita) announced today a partnership that would see the two studios collaborating on future game projects.
“Double Eleven has an outstanding track record in videogame development, and we like their way of thinking when it comes to publishing,” Q Games president Dylan Cuthbert said. “Q games is about making memorable experiences for everyone, and Double Eleven are the perfect partner to see our vision through.”
Double Eleven is currently publishing several PlayStation Vita titles, Playdead’s Limbo among them.
“Q Games bring a phenomenal amount of knowledge, creative ability, passion, and, most significantly, games to the mix,” Double Eleven COO Mark South added. “Most importantly, when we met Dylan and the team it became pretty clear that we would hugely complement each other’s plans for making great games.”
Cuthbert and Q Games are currently working on PixelJunk Inc. on PC, set to release through Steam.
