Sony Online Entertainment has announced that the Planetside 2 beta should start today, bar any unforeseen circumstances.

“Looking like it’s going to be Monday at 2pm for the start of Beta. Still a lot of work to do tomorrow and this weekend but looking good,” SEO president John Smedley tweeted. He later clarified that he meant 2pm PST.

The beta was supposed to begin last week, but was delayed to allow time for extra polishing, hopefully nothing will stop it this time. If you’re interested, you can still sign up for the closed beta here.
