Planetside 2‘s beta servers were taken offline by Sony Online Entertainment earlier today to correct an issue with missing Certs, the game’s currency.

SOE boss John Smedley has since said that users should no longer be seeing any issues with missing currency and that the problems were only affecting a small number of players. A hotfix was also released following the patch to address crashing issues that appeared once the servers were back online.

Planetside 2 is currently in closed beta and is expected to launch on November 20.
