Sony Online Entertinament has finally released PlanetSide 2′s Player Studio update, which will allow users to create their own content to sell in the game.

U.S. players can now “download sample geometry, learn how virtual items are constructed, and try designing items.” Players can choose the item name, description, and even add some lore about it.

Approved items will be placed on the PlanetSide 2 marketplace and creators will get a slice of the proceeds from each sale.
