Yes it’s finally the day that you’ve all been waiting for, Sony Online Entertainment has announced the official release date of Planetside 2.

The game will release worldwide on November 20 and is free-to-play for everyone. SOE added that all beta characters will be wiped before the official launch so that everyone is starting on a clean slate. The developer also confirmed that the game will launch with three continents, currently only two are available in the beta.

The game’s third continent, Amerish, is described as dark and swamp-infested, you can check out a quick video of it below.
