EA and PopCap Games have announced a sequel to its much loved and critically acclaimed strategy game Plants vs. Zombies.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 is set to launch late spring 2013, on as-yet unannounced platforms. The game will feature “a bevy of new features, settings, and situations, designed to delight the franchise’s tens of millions of fans around the world”, according to a press release sent out by EA.
