Following a teasing tweet yesterday, EA has announced that PopCap Games’ shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be coming to Sony’s platforms in August.

The game will be available from August 19 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Vita. The Vita version supports remote play with PlayStation 4, and can be used for split-screen co-op and Boss Mode (also compatible with iOS devices).

“We’re especially excited for fans to experience Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare on PS4, where it will be playable at a native 1080p resolution and blazing fast 60 frames per second,” PopCap’s Gary Clay said.

All of Garden Warfare’s previously released DLC (Garden Variety and Zomboss Down) will be included on the disc.
