PopCap has announced that it has a fix ready to address the issues caused by Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare‘s Garden Variety DLC.
Creative Director Justin Wiebe wrote on Twitter that testing of the patch went well and that it should be rolling out to Xbox One later today, however, Xbox 360 players will have to wait a little while longer. “We now have fixes locally and are testing them. All goes well game should be running smooth on X1 tonight. X360 will take a bit longer,” he wrote.
“Patch tests are good. We will be rolling out the patch to the servers tonight which will also restore prev economy and balance tuning,” he added. “Please note however Driftwood Shores and Main Street G&G maps will be out of map rotation on X360 a little longer. Again our apologies.”
Garden Variety was released earlier this week as a free update. The DLC included a new game mode known as Gnome Bomb—a take on Battlefield’s Obliteration mode—a new map called Chomp Town, and 24 new abilities—three for each class.
Patch tests are good. We will be rolling out the patch to the servers tonight which will also restore prev economy and balance tuning.
