Play Borderlands 2, Aliens: Colonial Marines At Gearbox Community Day
Posted on August 5, 2012 AT 11:42am
Gearbox Software is hosting an upcoming community event where fans will be able to play early demos of Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines. If you’re going to be around Dallas, Texas this September, you might want to drop in on them.
Gearbox Software Community Day 2012 marks the second iteration of event, and the lineup already looks far better than last year, when the main attraction was Duke Nukem Forever. Along with the pre-release demos, the Gearbox staff will be hosting panels and presentations, while fans can get involved with cosplay contests and giveaways that will be hosted throughout the event.
A celebrity poker tournament to raise money for the Video Game History Museum will kick off before the community event, too.
Since Gearbox Software Community Day will be going down just three days before the release of Borderlands 2, there will also be a launch party that night (only for attendees 21-years-old and over).
To stay abreast of the event’s schedule and highlights, Gearbox has a webpage dedicated to future updates.
Borderlands 2 hits shelves on September 18th, and Aliens: Colonial Marines has been pushed back to February 12th, 2013.
