Following on from last week’s free trials on Xbox One and PC, PlayStation Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4 will be able to download and play Doom for free this weekend.
From now until July 31st, PlayStation 4 owners with an active subscription can download and play the 2016 shooter for free. The trial includes the first two missions of the single-player campaign and unlimited access to multiplayer and SnapMap. As well as this, all of the content found in the Unto the Evil, Hell Followed, and Bloodfall DLCs will be available for free, along with the content added since launch, including Arcade Mode and Photo Mode.
All progress made during the free trial can be carried over to the full game, which is also discounted to $14.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers until August 16th.
Earlier this month, Bethesda pushed live update 6.66 for the game, unlocking the above three premium DLC packs for all players, overhauling the multiplayer progression system, and replacing the Hack Module System with the Runes system.
Doom is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
