EA is offering Origin users a chance to play PopCap Games’ shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for free for 72 hours as part of its Game Time promotion.

Game Time offers Origin users the chance to play various games for free for a limited amount of time. Garden Warfare can be added to your library from now until August 25, players then have 72 hours of free time to use. The 72 hours begin from the first time you boot up the game and run in real-time, so even if you’re not playing the time will tick down.

Previous Game Time promotions offered Battlefield 4 for 168 hours and Titanfall for 48 hours.

PopCap recently released the game’s newest update “Suburbination,” which adds a new map called Crash Course, and a new game mode called Suburbination—a take on the Domination game mode. There’s also the Plasma Peashooter variant that will allow players to “fire off a bunch of quick plasma pea bursts” or charge the shot for “the ultimate plasma blast.” Finally the update adds a new Bling Pack customization kit.
