THE BUZZ: Capcom has announced that players will be able to use the PlayStation Vita as a controller for the PlayStation 3 version of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3.
Connectivity features will allow players to sync up their Vita to the PlayStation 3 and use the touch screen fighting controls, previously announced for Vita, with the PlayStation 3 version. You can also choose to use the buttons to fight if you wish to and doing so will allow you to assign four special moves to massive buttons on the Vita’s screen for easy access. Finally you will be able to view replays, share videos online, display button presses and show character’s hit boxes on the Vita screen.
EGM’s TAKE: That’s a lot of cross platform functionality right there, it may prove to be the tipping point for Sony if more games take advantage of it.
