As promised, PUBG Corp. has delivered the 1.0 update for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One.
This update signals the game’s move from Xbox Game Preview to full release and introduces the Sanhok map. The map is 4km x 4km in size and home to two new weapons: the QBZ assault rifle and the QBU DMR. Players also gain access to the Rony pickup truck that can hold up to four players and is found exclusively on the Sanhok map.
Welcome to Sanhok, @Xbox.
The PUBG 1.0 Update is now live on Xbox One. Our third map, Sanhok, achievements, Event Pass, performance updates, and much more are being implemented into the game with this patch.

Today’s update also brings with it the Event Pass: Sanhok. This new addition is similar to Fortnite Battle Royale’s Battle Pass and gives players a new way to earn cosmetic items in the game. Level up the pass by completing challenges and earning experience to unlock new customization options.

It should be noted that the previously announced War Mode is not included in this update. According to PUBG. Corp., War Mode and custom matches have been held back to ensure that the servers hold up and matchmaking times are quick. War Mode will now arrive in late September, with the custom match feature to follow in October.
