About one year after PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds came to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 players will get to enjoy the battle royale icon on their own platform.
Confirming previous reports, the game’s PS4 debut was announced on the official PlayStation Blog, with a trailer, a summary of the game, and a breakdown of its various editions. There will be four different editions available in total, which are listed below.
- Disc Edition ($29.99)- Includes: Base Game
- Looter’s Digital Edition ($29.99)- Includes: Base Game
- Survivor’s Digital Edition ($59.99)- Includes: Base Game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
- Champion’s Digital Edition ($89.99) – Includes: Base Game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 6,000 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
The PlayStation 4 version of the game will launch with three maps—Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok—with a fourth snow-themed map dropping this winter. In addition to the game’s large selection of standard cosmetic options, players that preorder the game on PS4 will earn themselves Uncharted and The Last of Us-themed customization items, namely the Nathan Drake Desert Outfit and Ellie’s Backpack, plus a new platform Avatar and theme.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds comes to PS4 on December 7th. The game was also recently added to the Xbox Game Pass.
