There appears to be no stopping the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds train as the game continues to surpass milestones.
To start with, after getting close earlier this week, Battlegrounds has not broken through the 2 million concurrent players mark, making it easily the most-played game on Steam. The game managed to hit a peak concurrent player count of 2,008,048 yesterday afternoon, a lofty 1.4 million more players than Dota 2 in second place.

If that wasn’t enough, the game also surpassed the 15 million copies sold milestone yesterday, according to data collected by SteamSpy.
In other news, yesterday, developer Bluehole announced that it is delaying the start of the next season of Battlegrounds’ leaderboards due to the large amount of concurrent players putting stress on the servers.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PC and will be coming to Xbox One later this year.
