PlayStation 3 Sees 14% Year-On-Year Growth For May 2011 (Fourth Consecutive Month Of Double Digit Growth)

Following the release of the NPD Reports for May 2011, Sony has announced that US PlayStation 3 hardware sales have seen a 14% year-on-year increase.
Patrick Seybold, Sony Computer Entertainment America’s director of corporate communications said;
“We are pleased to see that according to the May NPD report, PlayStation 3 hardware sales increased 14% year-over-year,”
He also mentioned that the PS3 had seen its “fourth consecutive month of double-digit growth.”
So for once it’s not all doom and gloom for PS3 owners and there’s finally something to be pleased about.
