The Order 1886

Upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886 will not feature multiplayer, developer Ready at Dawn has confirmed.

Responding to a question on Twitter, Ready At Dawn chief technical officer and co-founder Andrea Pessino stated: “No multiplayer, it is a single player, third person action adventure game.”

When questioned about the decision Pessino added: “Better to do one thing well than a whole bunch half-assed. We are trying to make a SP experience you will enjoy.”

The Order: 1886 was first announced at E3 last year and sees players take on the role of an elite member of knights fighting in a centuries-old war against half bred monsters, who are a combination of animal and man, that will determine the fate of the human race.
