Sony Computer Entertainment has started rolling out firmware update 1.62 for the PlayStation 4.

The update weighs in at 336MB and carries a single patch note: “Operation quality during use of some PlayStation 4 software has been improved.” This is just another one of those under the hood tweak patches.

The console’s last major update, version 1.60, added support for the PULSE and PULSE–Elite Edition wireless stereo headsets.
