The PlayStation 4 has launched in 16 more countries today, taking the total number up to 48.
Sony’s next-gen console is now available in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, South Africa, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The console had sold 2.1 million units worldwide as of December 1, according to Sony, following its release in North America on November 15 and most of Europe on November 29.
PlayStation 4 is set to release in more countries later this year, including Japan on February 22, 2014.
