Sony social media manager Sid Shuman has revealed that PlayStation 4’s Party Chat feature will support up to eight players chatting at one time.

“Party Voice Chat will support up to 8 players on PS4, like PS Vita,” he said in a recent Killzone: Shadow Fall Q&A on the PlayStation Blog. PlayStation 4 players will be able to chat with Vita players while in party chat and vice versa. Yesterday it was revealed that the PlayStation 4’s DualShock 4 can be used with PlayStation 3 for some games.

PlayStation 4 is set to launch November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe.
