Sony has made the PlayStation 4 a little more stable with its latest system software update.

Update 5.55 is available now and contains the usual patch note that reads: “This system software update improves system performance.”

The update is around 450MB in size and can be downloaded manually from here.

The last major update for PlayStation 4, version 5.50, included the option to use custom wallpapers from USB, play time management options, Quick Menu enhancements, a new Supersampling Mode for PlayStation 4 Pro, and more.
