Sony Computer Entertainment has released system update 1.71 for PlayStation 4 that increases overall system software stability.
The update weighs in at 194MB, and according to the official patch notes: “System software stability during use of some features has been improved.” According to reports, the update also fixes a bug that caused the DualShock 4′s vibration function to deactivate when the console was turned off, and resolved an issue that prevented saved game files from being uploaded to the cloud.
In April, Sony released update 1.7 for the console that added SHAREFactory, a free video editing tool for recorded gameplay, and enabled the ability to pre-download pre-purchased games several days before launch.
