Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 3′s DualShock controller will not work with PlayStation 4.
Despite the PlayStation Move controller–which uses the same Bluetooth 2.0 connection–working with the console, the platform holder has revealed that DualShock 3 controllers will not be supported. This is probably due to the new touchpad and share feature playing such an important role.
“No, [the PlayStation 4] doesn’t support DualShock 3 but it does support PS Move,” Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida told Polygon.
