Sony has announced a new application for PlayStation Vita that allows players to enjoy their PlayStation Home arcade classics on the move.

The PlayStation Home Arcade app is available to download free from the PlayStation Store and includes two free games–Icebreaker and WipEout 2D. Additional titles can be purchased for $1.49 each, and once a title is bought it can be played on either Vita–via the app–or PlayStation 3 in Home. The following titles are currently available via the app:

• Scribble Shooter (Demo available for free) – Sony Computer Entertainment

• Time Pilot – KONAMI
• Asteroids – ATARI

• Astrosmash Gen2 – INTELLIVISION via Realtime Associates
• Shark! Shark! Gen2 – INTELLIVISION via Realtime Associates
• Mad Blocker – Open Emotion
