Sony’s PlayStation Mobile service—a feature detailed at length during Gamescom 2012—is now live for the Vita and other approved devices, granting access to a backlog of games. ‘Hope you own an Xperia.
At a glance, the selection isn’t all that impressive, with the standouts in the list narrowing down to Grandia, Wild Arms, Tekken, Wipeout, and Crash Bandicoot.
Then again, there are some particularly rare titles like Jumping Flash, Kula World, and Intelligent Qube available, so the options aren’t as bad as they could’ve been. Sony’s been making a push to sell much of the PlayStation 1′s library across their mobile devices, recently adding PSone Classics support to the PS Vita, with rather erratic update schedules.
