THE BUZZ: It would appear that the PlayStation Network is currently experiencing some unscheduled downtime as a number of users are currently unable to connect.

A number of PlayStation users have been unable to sign into the PlayStation Network for the last couple of hours, reciving the 8002A308 error. RabidWalker, a PlayStation Europe Community man, said on Twitter:

“Currently there is an unscheduled maintenance on the PSN, which is affecting the PSN and forum Sign In, I will update when I have more info”

We will update the story as we get more information.
