THE BUZZ: Sony has postponed this week’s planned PlayStation Network maintenance.

The maintenance was scheduled for later today and would restrict players from playing online at all for around 14 hours.

No reason was given for the postponement and there was no new maintenance date issued.

EGM’s TAKE: This is great news for all of you who were dreading a Thursday without gaming. However, expect Sony to reschedule the maintenance for next Thursday. You can put that book away now, it will no longer be required.
