PlayStation Now is getting an incentive boost, with nine new PlayStation 3 games coming to the subscription service.
PlayStation Now allows PlayStation fans to stream a massive selection of nearly 500 PS3 games for one monthly price, and now that massive selection has gotten a little bigger. This month’s newly added titles offer a healthy gameplay variety, with highlights like Sniper Elite III for those after a solid solo experience, or Payday 2 for a group of friends seeking out some cooperative fun. The full list of games can be found below:
- Sniper Elite III
- Dark Sector
- Payday 2
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
- Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends
- Tiny Brains
- How to Survive
Any saves made in games streamed through PlayStation Now are saved to PlayStation’s cloud, meaning players can transfer saves between their PS4 and PC if they start on one but wish to continue on another. While the service’s catalog is currently limited to PS3 games, PS4 games are getting added to the lineup later this year.
PlayStation Now is Sony’s answer to the Xbox One’s popular backward compatibility program which has recently seen the addition of several new games, including Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions.
