PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS versions of Mighty No. 9 have been added as a Kickstarter stretch goal today at the tail end of the game’s Kickstarter funding period.
As of this post, 46,298 backers have pledged just over $2.6 million—well over the original $900,000 goal. The Vita and 3DS stretch goal requires Mighty No. 9 to reach $3.5 million in funding, which would also net the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release.
PC, Mac, Linux, PS3, 360, and Wii U versions have already been confirmed for Keiji Inafune’s Mega Man spiritual successor. Other stretch goals reached include additional stages, a new game plus and turbo mode, a making-of documentary, a boss rush mode, a challenge mode, and an extra end stage complete with its own boss.
Anyone interested in seeing Mighty No. 9 come to the Vita or 3DS better rally the troops and get behind the Kickstarter soon, however, because it comes to a close in 4 days—on October 1.
