Pokemon Go

Nintendo has announced that a Global Catch Challenge will be going on in Pokémon Go until November 26th.

Over the next six days, players will need to collectively catch 3 billion Pokémon to make Farfetch’d available worldwide and Kangaskhan available in East Asia for 48 hours. Players can also enjoy double XP, bonus items, and an increase in Pokémon around the world for reaching 1.5 billion Pokémon caught.

Last week, Niantic promised to continue supporting Pokémon Go throughout 2018 with new “amazing features,” following fan fears over the game being abandoned in favor of the developer’s upcoming Harry Potter augmented reality game, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

Pokémon Go is available now as a free download on iOS and Android devices.
