Pokemon Go

Niantic has pushed a server-side change live that should reduce the amount of Pidgey, Rattata, and Zubat that players encounter while out and about.

“Professor Willow has discovered that you may encounter other Pokémon where Pidgey, Rattata, and Zubat were previously more commonly found,” a tweet by the developer reads.

The developer has also made it so Pidgey and Rattata will no longer hatch from eggs, and moved Eevee from the 10km egg to the 5km egg to help prevent disappointment.

Pokémon Go is available now as a free download on iOS and Android.
