Pokemon Go

Dataminers have discovered references to second-generation Pokémon and Ditto in the files added with the latest update for Pokémon Go.

According to TheSilphRoad, Pokémon 152 (Chikorita) to 251 (Celebi) have been added to the game?s files, but a client-side update will be required before they can appear in-game. Movesets have not been added for the new Pokémon, but it appears that Niantic is getting closer to officially adding generation 2.

The update also adds the illusive Ditto?s signature move “Transform” to the game, however it is still not attached to the Pokemon in the files. Ditto is one of six first generation Pokémon missing from the game currently.

Pokémon Go is available now as a free download on iOS and Android devices.
