Pokémon Go players can celebrate the Lunar New Year with increased spawn rates for canine-based Pokémon and bonus Stardust.

Between now and February 17th, the spawn rates of Poochyena, Growlithe, Eevee, Snubble, and Electrike are increased and players can get three times as much Stardust from catching them. As well as this, Lures will last six hours until February 23rd.

In other news, Niantic recently made two new outfit packs available for Pokémon Go avatars based on the original Team Rocket and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon‘s Team Rainbow Rocket. 

Pokémon Go is available now as a free download on iOS and Android.

Pokémon Go players can celebrate the Lunar New Year with increased spawn rates for canine-based Pokémon and bonus Stardust.
